We gave the J-Dawg her first bath today. I was a little nervous because a big old GSD could cause a big ruckus if she felt like it… but I should have known she was too sweet to cause much trouble.
Make no mistake, she LOATHED it. She stood there with a pained expression and just endured it.
After she got out she shook water all over the house and sulked like a 2 year old. (oh, wait. She IS a two year old.)
I’m so sorry, Jess. Will you look at me?
Jessssiiiieeeeee…. Jess. Jess. I love you. Do you forgive me?
(if hate were people, she’d be China.)
LOL the joys of owning a dog with a big personality. My Loki has perfected the art of ignoring me, pretending not to hear me speaking to him unless I say magic words like "treat" and "ride" - those seem to perk him right up! BTW - Loki and his mom Natasha both had separation anxiety - crate training cured them both. It makes them feel safe in there. GOOD LUCK!
