So, week one of the 6 week get fit challenge.
Good News- I ate GREAT. I abstained from leftover scalloped potatoes (mitch would heat them up at night and the smell would try to seduce me) and I took the kids to Krispy Kreme and ate nary a crumb of donut! My diet was healthy and clean all weak.
Too bad my body wasn’t getting with the program. Midweek I got a scrip for antibiotics for a sinus infection and bronchitis. I HATE taking medicine and try to avoid it, but this flu has me downing any chemical that comes my way in an effort to survive. I have personally consumed almost a full bottle of advil. GROSS.
I can’t wait until I’m better and I can go to the gym and start getting rid of this crap in my system. I need a few hot dates with the sauna… har har.
Final result for the first week- down about half a pound but who knows what that means? Until I’m healthy again I don’t expect much. I’ll just keep eating well and hopefully be back to normal soon.
