Fresh.

Say howdy to my new blog. When I got my computer back after a two week repair hiatus (thanks again, Ken. You saved my bacon.) I felt like creating something new. My former blog had over 1,200 posts, can you believe that? It was a fine blog, but I got tired of trying to explain the strange address to people… digitals? what was I thinking 4 years ago?  The hardest part of setting up a new blog is coming up with the name, you want something clever and descriptive… hmmmmm.

Then, as I was heading out to pick the kids up at carpool, one of my favorite songs came up on shuffle. Little Wing by Sting. (covered by Sting. Originally by Jimi Hendrix- whom I also love, but the Sting version wins out by a bit.)  I was singing along and it just hit me. CIRCUS MIND. That is completely me and it gives me room to post about whatever I like on the blog. Photography, food, colors, kids, books, family, religion, rants, crafts, random-osities…. welcome to my brain. It’s a circus in here.

Did you know that I dream in Technicolor?  All night, every single night, I dream a wild assortment of crazy things. When I wake up, it’s like I’ve spent the night watching very strange movies. It’s interesting and sometimes exhausting… so I take naps and dream some more. I think it’s due to my strong “right brain” tendencies. I have often wondered if I even have a “left brain” at all. ( the links lead to a cool inventory of right vs. left characteristics. Which one are you?)

Anyhoo… that’s the reason for the new blog address. I hope you’ll bookmark me and check in once in awhile.
